I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen: not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else.

Serial Sleepers

House of Heroes is a rising artist with four* albums under their belt. One song on their album, Say No More, entitled Serial Sleepers, is a very good song, in my opinion. The lyrics to the chorus are simple: “Wake the dead./Serial sleepers slay with words unsaid.” (For the rest, Google is your friend).
Anyway, the song is a literal and metaphorical wake-up call for Christians who are not being vocal about their faith. “The dead” and “Serial sleepers” are said Christians. The way they slay is with “words unsaid”; in other words, by not sharing God’s message and His gift of eternal life through His son, Jesus, they are send other people to their eternal death in Hell.

Anyway, just thought I’d share this with you. More about House of Heroes: They are a great band, musically and lyrically, and many of their songs have underlying Christian messages (as can be seen in the example I just provided). Most of their songs can be considered “dark”, but that is understandable, given that the entire concept of their album, The End Is Not The End, is World War II.

So I encourage you to check them out if you have not already.
By the way, here is a link to the YouTube video of Serial Sleepers: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FPbNsBAj7Q8
Cheers.

Jesus died for you. The least you can do is to live for Him.
